Helped in uniting Kasaragod Kannada speaking people

 

I took an initiative to go for an online petition, so we created a petition and got 80+ signatures. We submitted the complaint to all the concerned Government authorities of India. We received immediate reply from KSRTC Department with an assurance on our requests. The news was published in local/state news paper - Udayavani. I thank Facebook and WhatsApp for helping us spread the word fast. Here is the online petition- Use both Kannada and Malayalam sign boards in all buses to help general public.

Result:

We approached District collector of Kasaragod with the petition and he ordered for the implementation of our requests. We also filed RTI to know those information exchanged between officials. It was a great success of linguistic communities of the whole region.
